Who we are
Tavares Carpenting is a family-owned business built on more than a decade of hands-on experience in custom woodworking and installation. We opened our doors to clients in 2016 and have since completed projects ranging from single-room bath upgrades to full kitchen renovations with coordinated trim and built-ins.
Owner Rui Tavares works closely with homeowners to translate rough ideas into practical layouts—balancing aesthetics, storage, and how a family actually uses a space.
What we believe
Quality cabinetry is measured in quiet details: square corners, hardware that lines up, doors that close evenly, and finishes that look as good up close as they do from across the room. We take pride in work that ages well and in relationships built on honesty about timeline and cost.
We are licensed and insured, and we can coordinate with insurance when a project requires it—so you are not navigating paperwork alone.
Where we are—and where we work
Our shop address is 104 Anawan Street, Fall River, MA 02721. Many of our clients live on the South Coast of Massachusetts, in Westport and neighboring towns, or across the water in Newport and other Rhode Island communities. We also take select projects in Greater Boston when the scope is a good fit.
